ABOUT CLUANIE SWANWICK

DSC_2086-High Res.jpg

Cluanie was born and raised in Phillip Island, Victoria, a small coastal town a 2 hour drive outside of Melbourne, Australia. She began a keen interest in Theater and Film at the age of seven when she discovered the movie musical Hairspray. She fell in love immediately with all things theatrical and cinema.

Cluanie's theater career began during her high school years when she was cast in her school's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The more involved Cluanie got with her local theatrical scene onstage the more she wanted to learn about every element it took to put on a show.

After high school, Cluanie attended Federation University where she obtained a Bachelor of Performing Arts. During her time there she became incredibly involved both on and back stage. This wholistic involvement sparked her joy more than ever before.

After graduating in November 2021, Cluanie decided to continue her education further and attended The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She graduated in May of 2024 with and Associate's degree in Film and Television.

Cluanie is currently located in New York City, New York. She has worked with NYU, The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, Fire Island Pines Art Project, and in both Off-West End and Off-Broadway
